The Fairlie Museum, originally a smithy run by Joseph Binney, has expanded over the years with additional buildings, including the old Railway Station. The museum features an impressive collection of local farm equipment, vintage cameras, dioramas of a schoolroom and hospital room, and motorized exhibits like old cars, tractors, and trucks, many of which are operational. A unique highlight is a homebuilt gyrocopter that flies. The museum is housed in the Colonial Cottage, bequeathed by Mabel Binney, and is managed by a dedicated group of volunteers. The on-site Museum Cafe is a popular stop for travellers.
